Lapidus & Myles Concert
Saturday, January 31, 2026 • 13 Sh'vat 5786
7:30 PM - 9:00 PMSchwartz-Goldstein Hall
Join us for an interactive evening of music, community and acts of justice as Lapidus & Myles share their music & message of bringing people together in a spirit of love, peace, and justice. Here's a preview of what you can expect from this celebrated duo.
With roots evocative of the musical partnership between The Temple and Ebenezer, Lapidus & Myles, featuring The Temple’s very own composer-in-residence, Rabbi Micah Lapidus, as well as nationally renowned vocalist, Melvin Myles - have been invited to share their inspiring work with communities across the country, from Selma, Alabama to Central Synagogue in New York. For this hometown crowd, they will perform an intimate, uplifting, at times challenging, and joyful concert weaving together meaningful story and song.
An act of justice is showing up to hear their music for people of conscience—alongside friends, neighbors, colleagues, and loved ones from different backgrounds. The more diverse the room, the deeper the impact and the greater the shared sense of hope and connection. Bring a friend!
Stay and savor the evening with coffee and indulgent creamers, a dessert spread, cheeses and fresh fruit—plus beer and wine to toast a beautiful night of music.
Co-sponsored by the Rothschild Social Justice Institute.
