The Temple will participate in two important Gun Violence Prevention Events this month along with our friends at Ebenezer Baptist Church and hosted by St. Luke’s Episcopal in midtown Atlanta. Rabbi Peter Berg will participate. Dr. Mark Rosenberg of CDC will address gun violence as a serious health issue followed by an Atlanta Mayoral Candidate forum on gun violence on October 21 at 5:00 PM. And on Wednesday, October 27 at 5:00 PM, we will participate in a vigil on the third anniversary of the Tree of Life massacre in Pittsburg as well as remembering victims of gun violence over the past year. Included in the program will be music, interfaith prayer and candle lighting and bell ringing.
