Please join members from across Atlanta’s Jewish community for this special opportunity to see Second Shot, a documentary that follows the lives to two teenagers after a shooting. We will discuss how we see “juvenile justice” and what we might do together to create more healing and growth for every child and teen, even in our own families and communities. Panel led by Temple member Debra Shigley. Panelists include Nicole Wiesen, Georgia Coordinator for the Multifaith Initiative to End Mass Incarceration; Judge Velma Tilley, retired Juvenile Justice court judge, and Josie Duffey, defense attorney and host of the podcast “Unreformed: the Story of the Alabama Industrial School for Negro Children.”
