ABOUT THE 4-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM

The Adventurous 4s

By the ages of 4 and 5, children are gaining more self-confidence and independence. At WELC, we celebrate these milestones by fostering a fun and active learning environment rooted in our Jewish values. We’re getting our preschoolers ready for the world. Just ask our parents. Ninety nine percent of parents who were polled said, their children were beyond ready for Kindergarten after graduating from WELC!

Hours

WELC’s programs are flexible allowing parents to choose which days and times they want their children to attend. 4-year-olds have the option to be enrolled in our five-day Half-Day Program which operates 9:30-1:30, or our Extended Day Program which operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and is year-round, including winter and spring holidays.

Communication

We know how important it is to share school and home life. At WELC parents will receive weekly newsletters and pictures from their teachers. There are formal parent-teacher conferences twice a year.  There is also a monthly calendar and information from the WELC administration.

PARENT TESTIMONIAL

I consider being a part of the WELC at The Temple to be one of the great blessings in our life as a family. This is truly a very special place—one that has educated, nurtured, and loved my two children since they were young toddlers. Not only did the teachers provide our boys with the early skills they needed to know, they also inspired them to love being Jewish. We are so grateful for the WELC and feel lucky to be a part of this warm and caring community!
— Lindsay B., Parent

TEACHER TESTIMONIAL

“They are our lawyers, doctors of our future and I feel gratified in knowing that I was part of their growth.”

— Ms. Ana
