The Temple is a founding sponsor of the Midtown Assistance Center (MAC). MAC is a non-profit organization that has provided emergency assistance to the working poor of Midtown and Downtown Atlanta since 1986.

In 2012, MAC prevented the eviction or homelessness of 444 families. They distributed food to 1,469 families and stopped the disconnection of utility service in 652 households. The long term success rate of MAC’s clients in maintaining their homes is 93%. Your financial contribution will help Atlanta’s working poor to remain in their homes and avoid becoming part of our shelter community.
