Class Trips (6th through 12th Grades)

6th Grade - North Georgia

Seventh grade students travel with Rabbi Rau, Elizabeth, and their teachers to North Georiga. After an overnight at URJ Camp Coleman (in their motel), students visit a local nursing home bringing cheer to their residents and bond with their classmates at an arcade. 

7th Grade - Tennessee

Seventh grade students travel with Rabbi Rau and their teachers to Whitwell and Chattanooga, TN for an overnight visit to the Paperclips Holocaust exhibit and for a caving adventure.

8th & 9th Grades - New Orleans or Florida

Eighth and ninth grade students travel with Rabbi Rau, Elizabeth Foster and their peer leaders to New Orleans or Florida (alternating years) in January for a social action, socialand Jewish heritage trip. This year, we will be traveling to Florida.

10th Grade - NYC

Tenth grade students also take a weekend trip each school year to New York. On this trip, confirmation students trace Jewish immigration and explore Judaism in the largest Jewish community in America.

11th & 12th Grades - Israel

Eleventh and Twelfth grade students have the opportunity travel to Israel on the Teen Israel Experience

12th Grade - Washington, DC

Twelfth grade students have the opportunity travel with Rabbi Berg to Washington, DC and participate in the L'Taken conference in partnership with the Religious Action Center.
