We will be having our Mini Shabbat in the garden of The Davis Academy. The Temple's Rabbi Loren Filson Lapidus and Song Leader Jordan Wilensky will join with The Davis Academy's Rabbi Micah Lapidus and the Nurture team to celebrate Shabbat, followed by activities and snacks related to Israel. This is a great opportunity to come together with a broader community of young families. Bagels and snacks will be served.

This special event is in partnership with Interfaith Israel Our Shared Journey, The Temple, The Davis Academy and Nurture.

The program is taking place at The Davis Academy Nature Sanctuary (8105 Roberts Drive, Sandy Springs, GA 30350). If this is your first visit to the school, please use the address above as Google and GPS can direct you to our middle school campus. When you arrive, follow the road around to the main parking lot across from the playground. The nature sanctuary is located toward the back of the parking lot.

Our Shared Journey is a 12-day trip to Israel for married couples who identify as interfaith and have never been to Israel as a couple. The Our Shared Journey trip is led by Rabbi Loren Filson Lapidus and generously sponsored by Leah and Richard Davis. During the trip, couples will explore the beauty of Israel, engage in conversations about their respective traditions and families and make new friends within the Atlanta community.

The Davis Academy, the country's largest Reform Jewish Day School in the country, serves students in kindergarten - eighth grade.
