"Pandemic and Jewish Ethics: Controversies and Perspectives" with Dr. Jonathan Crane, Scholar of Bioethics and Jewish Thought and Associate Professor of Religion at Emory University. Zoom.

Wednesday, May 20, 2020 26 Iyar 5780

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Pandemics give and take. To be sure, they take away health and lives. They also take away security, interaction and normalcy. Yet pandemics give opportunities to heal and to think deeply about personal and collective priorities. Though ethical reflection is necessary, controversies abound. This session examines pandemics and their controversies through a Jewish ethical lens.
