In conjunction with The Temple, Jewish Women’s Archive, and The Covenant Foundation, this communal art project celebrates the Temple’s longstanding commitment to social activism, incorporating a collective expression of women’s voices. The collective artwork resulting from these workshops will be exhibited as part of a community exhibition in May at the MJCCA as a large installation piece. Your personal studio work will become part of one large installation, revealing the range and breadth of The Temple’s commitment to social activism and explore the challenges and complexities of tikkun olam in our world today. It will bring to life the work especially of Temple members who identify as female.
