Shabbat Service & Celebration of Cantor Scher
Cantor Tracey Scher Erev Shabbat Celebration
Cantor Tracey Scher will join us for her first Shabbat service on Friday, July 1. Let's gather together in the sanctuary to warmly welcome her and her family to Atlanta and The Temple. Services will be followed by refreshments for all and socializing. Please RSVP below for the reception.
Then we'll kick off Independence Day Weekend festivities with a delicious meal outside (rain plan: motor lobby)! Bring your appetite for Shabbat dinner and pre-order savory grilled cheese sandwiches and other offerings, available from The Cheezy Truck outside and continue the celebration on the front lawn. Preview the menu below and prepay for dinner.
Wear your RED, WHITE and BLUE or a Peachtree Road Race T-shirt! Runners and volunteers of the Peachtree Road Race will receive a blessing during the service. Let's support all of our Temple member runners! Remember: “We refresh souls (soles) here!”
Did You Know?
The Temple is slightly past Mile 4 and offers an excellent vantage point for cheering on your friends and relatives running the race on July 4.
We look forward to launching the holiday weekend together with Cantor Tracey Scher! Learn more about Tracey below in her introduction video, see her passion and hear how thrilled she is to be part of The Temple family.
We hope you'll join us for refreshments and schmoozing with Cantor Scher!
