Monday, November 16, 2020 • 29 Cheshvan 5781
12:00 PM - 1:00 PMThere is so much going on in the world today but members of The Temple’s community have been active advocates in Atlanta for generations. Join Sandwich Salon for a conversation between 2 of our well known advocates, Elaine Alexander and Rabbi Lydia Medwin. Kent Alexander will moderate this lively and interesting conversation. Elaine Alexander has served on numerous civic, political and Jewish boards. From Leadership Atlanta to American Jewish Committee, ADL to Atlanta Women’s Foundation, she has shared her passion and her knowledge with many Atlantans throughout the years. Rabbi Medwin is committed to creating relationships in our Temple that lead to relationships throughout our Atlanta community. A true ‘organizer’, she is the co-author of The Relational Judaism Handbook: How to Create a Relational Engagement Campaign to Build and Deepen Relationships in Your Community. That describes all of The Temple engagement activities!! The RSJI Racial Justice committee is part of Rabbi Medwin’s portfolio and rumor has it she keeps a second office at Ebenezer Baptist Church so she can stay close to the important work of that committee! Zoom.
