Join us for a one hour art experience on public art and artistic practice with Sachi Rome. Sachi is a fine art painter and Beltline muralist, all the while working as the current Fine Art Department Chair and Art Teacher at the historic Booker T. Washington High School. We will have a conversation about what we love or appreciate in the Age of Covid. Each participant will brainstorm ideas about what they would like to share with the community. Sachi will demonstrate easy and fun ways to do creative lettering with pattern and color for the"Chalk Walk of Love" (sharing well wishes and things we love in the driveway/ sidewalk). This is a great way to give all the participants a therapeutic way to deal with stress and feelings of missing friends as art brings us together. #Chalkwalkoflove. Zoom.
