Tuesday, March 25th - Join Rabbis Lydia & Dan Medwin for the start of this lunch and learn series to hear about their time living in Jerusalem, what they saw, what they learned, and how it has impacted their family and their perspectives on Israel.

Tuesday, April 8th - A prominent Reform rabbi in Israel, leading Jerusalem’s most well-known Reform shul (called Kol HaNeshamah), Rabbi Mazor holds deep empathy for the families of the hostages (one of whom is a member of his shul) and a deep commitment to justice in the West Bank and Gaza. Join us to learn from him about how he holds these tensions and so many more while shepherding his congregation.

Tuesday, April 15th - Rabbi Ezrachi-Vered is the leader of Spirit of the Gallilee, an interfaith organization committed to relationship building and change making in the northern areas of Israel. There, she convenes Israeli imams, priests, rabbis, and pastors, eager to connect and build bridges that lead to a more peaceful future. Join us to get a sense of her energy, her hope, and the light she is bringing to the region.

Tuesday, April 22nd - Join for this special session with Ariel Fogelman, director of Yalla! Israel, the NFTY in Israel experience, and current rabbinic student, to hear about his reservist service on Israel’s border as an educator and ethicist. Learn about his perspective as a teacher of Israel’s young adults serving as soldiers, and the father of a teen about to begin a tour of her own.

Tuesday, April 29th - To wrap up our series, we bring you the perspectives of two high school seniors, one Israel and one Palestinian who lives in East Jerusalem. These two young women grew up together through Elementary and Middle School and now, as they face graduation, they will take two different paths into their young adult years. Join us to hear from them about what life is like right now, how they continue to relate to one another, and what they see when they look to the future.
