Join in our celebration of Tu B’Shvat, the Jewish New Year of the trees. We will partake in the different fruits and grains native to the Land of Israel, known as the “Seven Species” and enjoy a mixing of the wines, a symbol for blending our own needs with those of our communal sustainability. A short shopping list will be provided to all who register. This celebration of our relationship to nature is also a call to action. It is a time of education and reflection to look at our impact on the world around us and consider our role towards shmirat ha’adamah, protecting our planet. During this time we will also engage with each other in small group discussion for reflections on our personal connection to the land.
