Rabbi Berg's Trip to Israel

Join Rabbi Berg to learn more about his trip:

ways to support

- Check in with Israeli friends and family, including Israelis here in the US, to let them know you are thinking about them. To our Temple members who are Israeli and those who have relatives in Israel, we especially send love and support.

- Donate to the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta's Israel Emergency Relief FundMagen David Adom or Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF), and IsraAID to provide immediate assistance to victims of this war and support to those fighting, as well as other organizations in Israel to which you are connected.

- The Temple, in partnership with the Jewish National Fund, is supporting the design of a bomb shelter in an area that it is needed most with the hope that a bright and cheerful mural will lift spirits. Donate here.

- Donate pizza to IDF solders or purchase items from the IDF Ops Wish List.

- Follow reputable news sources and stay informed. We know that when events in Israel are in the headlines, we are often asked more questions by co-workers, neighbors, and friends. We do not have to be political scientists, but we can share what we know and how we feel about what is happening.

- Support Israeli businesses when you purchase goods and services to help the Israeli economy.

Mental Health resources & Talking to your children

- If you need mental health support, please visit The Temple's ShalomCare site. For urgent assistance, call or text 988 to get help now. If you are ill or in need, please reach out to our clergy at 404-874-1731. If The Temple is closed, one of clergy can be contacted on the emergency page by selecting option #3.

- A message from JF&CS: We are keenly aware that many in our Atlanta community are concerned for loved ones, awash in grief and experiencing fear. If you or a loved one needs emotional support, JF&CS is available to help. Call 770.677.9399, text 678.460.9018, or email
