RABBI SAMUEL KAYE

 

Rabbi Samuel Kaye is the Assistant Rabbi at Temple, and joined the clergy team in July 2018. He was ordained in June of 2018 at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati Ohio where he also earned a Masters of Arts in Hebrew Letters. During his time as a student he served congregations and organizations in Cincinnati, New York, Toronto, West Virginia, Kentucky and South Dakota.

Rabbi Kaye was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. During his education at Allegheny College he developed an interest in history, philosophy and religion. Rabbi Kaye completed the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies year program before attending Rabbinical School and has served as a fellow at the iCenter.

Rabbi Kaye considers himself an accidental mystic and enjoys teaching a wide variety of subjects; mysticism, Musar, Hassidut, Talmud, and of course Torah. He and his wife Taylor Baruchel are enjoying all of the excitement and diversity that Atlanta offers. He is also an avid board game enthusiast, an amateur oudist, and a recovering bartender.
